Mikey's internist and regular vet have said take him wherever if he wants to go and let him enjoy. Of course, they didn't think he's be alive at Christmas much less trucking along now with a NORMAL ALT. They still said to take him to trials and on vacation.
I'm a little paranoid as he is on azathioprine and pred and, of course, his little immune system is haywire in the first place. Mostly I keep him up in a bag or in his kennel when we're out and about, but I entered him in a trial this weekend (NADAC, low key, just for fun). There is shade to park under so I was going to keep him in the van and set up his x-pen with a mat under it. Any other precautions short of not taking him?
We're also going down to the beach house this summer...I'm already worrying about a trip where he has to potty at a rest stop...
