Hi...I had to use this name because I registered, but I don't have my password yet.
Anyway, I've been taking 100 mg. of Co-Q 10 a day. Is that enough? I don't want to take more than I need to.
I also started giving it to my 5.5 lb dog, who has an enlarged heart & is on Enacard. Is 30 mg. every other day enough? (I would love to give it to my cat with cardiomyopathy, too, but unless he starts eating a capsule in a Pill Pocket, I don't think I can. He's very touchy about anything on his food.)
I just read that it also helps fight bacterial & viral infections & is an immune booster, so I thought I would try giving it to Charlie, who has FIV & is having UT problems now. Have you read that it helps fight infections?
Thanks for your input.

I also take 100 mg/day. Have you tried puncturing the gel cap and squeezing a little bit into the cat's wet food? It's pretty viscous stuff - unless you're using the powder, of course. I think you could conceal part of your dose it in a clump of the cat's wet food. My vague recollection of dosgae is 1 mg/lb, but I don't think you need to worry about overdosing the dog. And, apparently you can use it in lieu of covering your windows w plastic and duct tape ... ;-) www.holistic-online.com/Remedies/Biot/biot_anthrax-coQ10-nat-rem.htm
