Bones was at the vets last month for a cold. The vet noticed she never had a rabies vaccine. She wants to give Bones a rabies vaccine this month.
Bones is indoor only with several other cats and a dog. I only have one outdoor cat and he stays seperate from my indoor kitties.
Is there a point to the vaccine? Would she benefit from it?
(her story - long version)
Bones is my 3 year old kitty. She had a very rough start as a kitten. She was very sick and a pet store kitten were I worked. She was nothing but skin and bones hence her name.
I took her from the store and my vet got her feeling better and healthy. Then we gave her another vaccine. Standard kitten series I think 4-1 kind. Well she fell apart again and got real sick.
After much vet trip and all she was finaly healthy again and we scooted her in to be spayed since she was about 6 months old that was my main concern. She never had another vaccine.

You don't say whether rabies vax are required for cats where or live, or if there is rabies where you live.
Depending upon those answers, if she is healthy, I would probably have her vaccinated once for rabies and then forget about it. If she has any kind of reaction to it, presumably the vet will write an exemption letter (if the vax are required by law) based upon her history.
Someone last night was telling me how three indoor-only cats got out when one of them knocked a supposedly secure screen out of a window. Bats get into houses.

Thanks, it's required by law here but that part I am not worried about.
If she had had a rabies vaccine before I wouldn't be so concerned. But she never had one.
My vet is holistic/tradtional so when she reccomeneds a vaccine I tend to pnder it more.
