I always keep some dry cat food for evenings when I get home late or for their snack. For years, it's been Sensible Choice. Recently, SC reduced the size of their 18 lb bags to 15 lbs, but kept the same price - a 17% increase. They also never sent me the coupon for the free bag with proof of purchase of 12 - despite a couple of requests. So I give up on them. Innova or California Natural or other?

when they started adding corn some didn't like it anymore and I was also feeding Royal Canin with corn so I wanted at least one without corn. (how was that for rambling) I can't really help for a brand to buy tho since I am feeding one that is made in Canada that they seem to enjoy.

Emma, did you ever find a dry cat food you liked? I'm in that same boat right now trying to find one for my ferals. I tried the Chicken Soup for the Soul for the cats one, and they didn't like it. I've tried the Natural Balance (with chicken & duck) and they didn't like that. They liked Sensible Choice, but I stopped buying it when they raised the price and added corn meal. I'm looking at Eukanuba, but it has corn grits: www.eukanuba.com/en_US/jhtmls/product/sw_ProductDetail_Page.jhtml?pdi=26&li=en_US&bc=E&sc=C&pti=PD&tc=1&bsc=&lsc=&_DARGS=%2Fen_US%2Fjhtmls%2Fproduct%2Fsw_ProductList_droplet.jhtml.4_A&_DAV=1Innova also looks good, but I can't find it (so far) in a local store. Here's a good site for premium food. I guess I need to go through the yellow pages with this list www.thecatconnection.com/page/TCC/CTGY/FOD-DRYI don't feed them much dry. They mostly get canned, which reminds me, I need to find a new brand of canned for them also. I give them only 1/8 of a cup of dry after they've eaten their canned and are still hungry. I first soak the dry in hot water till it swells up. I was very interested in the Calif. Natural till I read this California Natural Dry Cat Food CAN ONLY BE SOLD IN TEXAS AND LOUISIANA I live in California

I decided to go w Innova, and everyone seems to be doing fine on it.
Also, at Whole Foods, I found a Paul Newman organic food and a Lick Your Chops that is primarily chicken and rice.
My guys get primarily Pet Guard canned (also less expensive at Whole Foods than anywhere else I've found).
Won't sell California Natural in California? Geez.
