bathroom cum nursery: He's 1-2 days old, his feral mama abandoned him. (I *think* it's a him, those bits are awfully little. I'll know for sure in a couple of days.) I'm looking for a nursing queen who could adopt him, but until then (and if I don't find one), he's stuck with me. I've got on an old, soft, very oversized denim shirt. I put him in the breast pocket and pulled that over between my boobs so he's nestled in where it's nice and warm. I've got a sweatshirt on over the top, to keep in the heat. Most of the time, though, he's in my toasty warm bathroom, in a box lined with quilt scraps layered on top of a couple of 20-ounce plastic drink bottles filled with hot water.

He's eating pretty good and gaining a little weight. I screwed up the nipple on the bottle, I'll have to get some new ones when I go out later. He's really strong and active, probably moreso than just about any other orphans I've bottle fed, so I'm optomistic about his chances.

Noofies I too would like to know how your baby kitten is doing. P.S. an updated picture would be nice

He's doing great! He's eating like a little piggy and gaining weight. I've been feeding him and Truly Beaglemama has been taking care of the other end, but tonight she even let him nurse! I'm going to see if she'll do it again at the next feeding, and try to get a pic. He ate half his dinner from her, half from the bottle. She's gotten more and more protective of him and won't let any of the other dogs near me when I'm holding him. I think she's starting to think he belongs to her. I wonder if I could get her to nurse him full time?
Updated pics tomorrow or Sunday. I'm petsitting this weekend, making three 2-hour trips a day over to the Weim rescue lady's house to let her dogs (hers and rescues) out to potty/play and to feed them. I'm doing a Weim adoption there in the morning.

I am so sorry he didn't make it Noofies, it sounded like he had a good chance.
