Went to a new vet. I was starting to feel rushed at my other vet. They are getting very busy there and it just seems to be more busy then what they can actually do. I like this vet. She is from Canada and speaks with a heavy French accent. But she actually sat down and talked to me for like 45 minutes. Brandy had her annual. All was well. Heart and everything sounded good she said. She is over weight but I knew that. SHe was a good dog for he blood work (heartworm and titer) ANd had her anal glands express. (all the cats sniffed her butt when we got home LOL Brandy was very offended) She did say her teeth were very nice. As for the mole/growth thing. She said it doesn't appear to be just a mole but said that doesn't mean the worst also. It was too small to aspirate (SP) and just lancing it can cause problems IF it is cancerous. Something about aggravting the cancer cells making it possible to spread. But she did give me 3 options. 1) Surgery to remove it and the skin around it to biopsy. 2) Homopathy (SP) She can prepare a homeopathic (SP) cancer plan for Brandy. This is assuming it's cancerous. If it's non cancerous then it may just be in effective. 3) NAET/Applied Kinsology (SP) which would go through everything that surrounds Brandy in her life and find out if there is something that is causeing her to purge toxins in the form of allergies and moles. This would be cancerous or not. I am sitting thinking about all of it. I like # 3 but may just opt for #1 and then save to follow up with number 3.
